NUNGU/PALM FRUIT/ICE APPLE MILKSHAKE is a simple drink to have in summer. Palm fruit is a natural coolant and is good in vitamins. we can eat palm fruit by itself. yummy to have. While we buy palm fruit in the shop, some Palm fruit's are a little hard to bite that we don't like to eat by itself. Don’t worry about it hereafter. We can make yummy Nungu/Iceapple milkshake with it and kids love it a lot. Nutritious summer cooler that you can prepare it in a few minutes. This drink is so simple to make, yet satisfying and delicious!!

Here I share with you all how to make to Nungu/Palm Fruit Milkshake.

Ingredients:
  •   Milk- 2 cups
  •  Nungu/Palmfruit -2
  • Condensedmilk/Sugar 4tbsp
  • Vanilla ice-cream
  • Saffron strands-few
  • ChoppedPistachio-ToGarnish.
      
Method:
  •         Peel the skin of Ice apple and keep it aside.
  •         Take Boiled and chilled milk in a bowl.
  •    Add 4tbsp condensed milk/sugar, mix well.
  •    Add Saffron strands and mix well.
  •         Blend the palm fruit well using a blender.
  •         Mix well with the milk. and gently pour it in the serving glass.
  •         Add vanilla ice-cream on the top.
  •        Garnish it with some chopped Pistachio. serve it cool.
     Yummy !!! Nungu/Palm fruit/Iceapple Milkshake is ready to taste.

Step1:   Peel the skin of Ice apple and keep it aside.


 Step2: Add 1/4cup  of condensed milk, Mix well.




 Step3:  Add 4tbsp  of condensed milk, Mix well.



Step4: Blend the ice apple using the blender and blend well.

  Step 5: Add Saffron strands to the milk and mix it.



Step6: Add the blended ice apple to the milk and mix it well.


Step 7:  Pour Ice apple in the serving glass and add 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream.


Step8: Garnish with pistachio and serve it chill

Homemade Frooti😋- Mango Juice🍹 in our fridge!! Lovely to hear 😍!!! Frooti Means Thanks! Everyone's pal and non-hater fruit are Mango! Eating mangoes cleanse your skin deep inside and give a glow to your skin. Mango contains Nutrients, Antioxidants, Boost Immunity and Improve Digestive Health. During my childhood days, my mom gave me mango for everyday meals in the mango season. It goes well with all foods. It’s a portion of our lunch box meal at that time🍱. During holidays we went to grandma's place, there we go to the mango grove🌳, plucking the mangoes, squeezing and enjoying the real taste😋 of it is an awesome feeling.  Memories of Childhood days are as sweet as mangoes. After the mango season, By drinking mango Frooti, I felt the taste of mango. I used to think about how to make Frooti in homemade? and Started searching the recipe for it. I learned it from my neighbor😄 and I tried it in my kitchen. Wow!!!😍The same flavor Homemade Frooti 😋!!!

Now, it’s summer🌞 and mango season. After seeing mangoes, it hits my mind why can't I share this recipe with you all ?? and Here it is,  how to make homemade mango Frooti – mango juice in a step by step pictorial method.

Ingredients:
  •  Mango- 2
  •  Sugar - 4tbsp.
  •  Water -2 cups.
  • Lemon juice -1/2tsp

 Method:
  •         Boil the water in a pan with 4tbsp of sugar.
  •         Stir well until sugar dissolves.
  •         Peel the skin of mango and slice it into small pieces.
  •         Take a blender, add the sliced mangoes, blend well.
  •         Mix it with the boiled sugar water.
  •    Turn off the flame. Add 1/2tsp of lemon juice. Mix well.
  •        Whisk it well without lumps. 
  •        Strain the mango juice with a strainer.
  •         Cooldown and Store it in a refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.

Serve the fresh and cool homemade Frooti –Mango juice.
                 Enjoy tasting it.

Ingredients:
  •          Watermelon- 2 cups.
  •          Sugar-2tbsp.(Add more if u req)
  •          Lemon juice-1/2 tsp.
  •     Ice cubes(optional)

 Method:
  •          Cut the watermelon into small pieces. Discard the seeds.
  •         Add it in the blender with ½ tsp lemon juice and sugar. Blend it well.
  •         Strain it and serve it cool by adding ice cubes.

Step1: Take 2cups of chopped watermelon. Discard seeds and add them to the blender.


 Step2: Add Lemon juice



Step3: Add sugar (as you required)



Step4: Blend well and strain it.

It can also provide folate, vitamin B9.As many women take folic acid during pregnancy to boost fetal healthyHere, I will explain to you how to make Mushroom Biriyani in pressure cooker method and it's easy for quick cooking. Adding Basmati rice along with the freshly grind homemade masala will stimulate your taste bud to want more and more.

Ingredients

  •          Basmati rice -1 cup
  •    Water Ratio (1: 1.5)
  •          Mushroom –500 kg
  •        Coconut oil  -2 tbsp
  •         Ghee- 1 tbsp
  •         Shallots- 10 no
  •         Green Chilly -2
  •        Tomato -1(finely chopped)
  •         Big onion- 1 (finely chopped)
  •        Curd- 1 tbsp
  •         Juice of 1 tsp
  •         Chili powder- 1tsp
  •        Turmeric powder- 1/2tsp
  •        Biriyani Powder-  2 tbsp
  •           Bay leaf -2
  •        Stone flower -3
  •        Cinnamon- 2( 1inch)
  •        Cloves-3
  •        Cardamom-2
  •        Star Anise -1
  •        Curry leaves- few
  •        Coriander leaves  &mint leaves  (full hand)
  •         Salt- req 
 Preparation:
  • Wash and soak 1 cup of basmati rice with enough water for 20 min.
  • Make a paste of Coriander & mint leaves, ginger &garlic in a blender
  •  Add 10 shallots in it and blend it together.
  • Blend 1 tomato in a blender and keep it aside.
                     
     
 Method:
  •    Heat a pressure cooker pan with 2 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp of ghee,     cinnamon, stone flower, cloves, star anise, cardamom, sauté it.
  •    Add chopped onion, 2 green chilies, salt and cook well till onion turns golden brown color.
  •      Then, Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste sauté well till raw smell goes.
  • Add Coriander and mint leaf paste, shallot paste, tomato paste and sauté well.
  • Then 2 tbspBiriyani Powder and 1 tsp of chili powder,1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and sauté well on low flame.
  • Add the 500gm Mushroom, salt to taste, 1 tbsp curd, ½ tsp lemon juice and mix well.(Skip curd for making it as a vegan recipe)
  •  Then, Add the 1 &1/2 cups of water, mix, and cook well until froth comes.
  •  Now, Add Basmathi rice and close the lid and cook for 1 whistle. 
  • Switch off the flame and leave it for 20 min. 
        Serve the tasty Mushroom Biriyani!!!!

Preparation:
  • Wash and soak 1 cup of basmati rice with enough water for 20 min.

  • Make a paste of Coriander & mint leaves, ginger &garlic in a blender
  •  Add 10 shallots in it and blend it together.
  • Blend 1 tomato in the blender and keep it aside.
Step 1: Heat a pressure cooker with oil, ghee, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, stone flower, bay leaves, cardamom,sauté well.

Step 3: Add the grounded paste and sauté well until the raw smell goes.


 Step 4: Add the tomato paste in it and saute well.


Step5:  Add cleaned mushroom and salt mix well and cook on low flame.



Step 6: Then, add 1 tsp chili powder, 2 tbsp Biriyani Powder 1 tsp turmeric powder and sauté it.

Step7: Add 1tbsp curd and 1tsp lemon juice and saute well. (skip curd for making it as a vegan recipe)



Step 8: Add 1 and 1/2  cups of water and mix well.

          
Step 9: when forth comes to add Basmati rice, mix well. Add coriander leaves on the top. 



Step 10: Cover the cooker with lid and cook for 1 whistle and turn off the flame leave it 20 min.

 

Now Mushroom Biriyani is ready to serve with simple onion raitha.
